The Abraham Lincoln Council, Scouting America recently announced that the Ace Sign Co. family will be honored with the 2025 Trailblazer Award. The award will be presented during the annual Trailblazer Dinner, scheduled for September 11, 2025, at Erin’s Pavilion in Southwind Park.
Established in 2010, the Trailblazer Award recognizes individuals and families whose leadership, service, and generosity have helped shape the Central Illinois community and support youth development. The dinner serves as a key fundraiser for the Abraham Lincoln Council, having raised more than $750,000 since its inception to support life-changing programs for young people.
From its founding in 1940, Ace Sign Co. has grown into a cornerstone of Springfield’s business community. Known for its craftsmanship and commitment to quality, the family-owned company has also built a strong legacy of civic engagement and support for local organizations.
Leaders past and present—including Joe Bringuet, Dennis Bringuet, Todd Bringuet, Scott Bringuet, and Cory Boatman—have been active in supporting programs that instill leadership and service values in youth, including those led by the Abraham Lincoln Council.
This year’s dinner will also include a remembrance in honor of those lost on September 11, 2001, their families, and others still impacted by the events of that day.
