Annual Ward Meetings Set for January

The City of Springfield will host its annual Ward Meetings in January. This is an opportunity for residents to share their thoughts and concerns related to City operations along with learning more about the City of Springfield's upcoming fiscal year budget. The new budget will be voted on at the end of February, and go into effect March 1, 2023.

Ward Meetings are conducted by an outside facilitator, Aldermen and Alderwomen representing the area, and City Department Directors who are available to address any questions pertaining to their oversight areas.

As a reminder, a new Ward Map will go into effect with the upcoming 2023 Municipal Election. Below is a link to the current Ward Map and the new Ward Map. Residents are invited to attend any and all Ward meetings to help gain perspective on what other neighborhoods are experiencing and also share your ideas.
