Springfield Mayor Misty Buscher is inviting the community to the upcoming Veterans Day Event hosted by the Veterans’ Advisory Council. The event, dedicated to honoring the service of veterans, is Friday, November 10, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the American Legion Post 809, located at 1800 E. Capital Ave.
The event will feature a program in honor of Veterans Day as well as remarks by Mayor Buscher at 6:00 p.m. highlighting the significance of Veterans Day and the exceptional contributions of our veterans to our community and country.
Queen B’s Catering will provide dinner to attendees.
