Sangamon Menard Crime Stoppers has announced two upcoming fundraisers to support its efforts. The organization is inviting the community to participate in these events and help make a difference in their local neighborhoods.
The first fundraiser is the North End Masters, which will take place on Saturday, April 8th from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The event promises to be a day of fun and entertainment, featuring games, prizes, and more. Participants can register for $15 in advance or pay $20 on the day of the event. All proceeds will go towards Crime Stoppers' mission of creating a safer community.
In addition to the North End Masters, Crime Stoppers is also launching a Queen of Hearts drawing. The drawing will be held every Sunday at Weebles at 7:00 p.m., and tickets are available for purchase at multiple satellite locations for $1 each. To participate, you must be 21 years or older.
Crime Stoppers is a non-profit organization that works with law enforcement agencies to solve crimes and bring perpetrators to justice. The organization relies on community donations and support to operate its programs, including a tip line that allows individuals to report suspicious activity anonymously.
