Crime Stoppers is seeking assistance from the public in identifying a suspect involved in three burglaries that occurred in January on Dirksen Parkway.
According to the Sangamon County Sheriff’s Office, an unknown male suspect forced entry into Linda’s Gaming Parlor at 3755 North Dirksen Parkway on two separate occasions, January 14 and January 16. In both instances, the suspect damaged gaming machines and removed cash boxes.
A similar incident took place on January 28 at Parkway Pub, 315 North Dirksen Parkway, where the suspect forced entry through a rear door, damaged gaming machines, and stole approximately $8,000. All three burglaries occurred in the early morning hours.
Crime Stoppers has released images of the suspect on its website, cashfortips.us. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers anonymously at 217-788-8427, submit a tip online, or use the P3 app. Tips leading to an arrest may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,500.
