Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects involved in a motor vehicle theft that occurred on March 3, 2025. The incident took place around 9 p.m. at the Pizza Hut located at 1861 Sangamon Avenue in Springfield.
According to surveillance footage, two suspects were seen in the area at the time of the theft. One is described as a white male wearing a blue coat, while the other is a Black male wearing a black sweatshirt. The victim had briefly parked and entered the restaurant, only to return and find his vehicle missing.
Images of the suspects have been posted on the Crime Stoppers website, cashfortips.us. Anyone with information about the incident or who can identify the individuals is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers anonymously at 217-788-8427, submit a tip online at cashfortips.us, or use the P3 app.
