Crime Stoppers: Crime of the Week

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in assisting the Springfield Police Department with identifying a suspect connected to a burglary at U Top Fashion, located at 846 E. South Grand Avenue in Springfield.

The incident occurred on May 6, 2025, around 4:00 p.m. when an unknown male suspect forced entry into a storage shed on the property. Several hundred dollars’ worth of items were reported stolen. The suspect then fled south from the scene.

At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and khaki shorts. He is described as a Black male. Surveillance images are available on the Crime Stoppers website at cashfortips.us.
