The world-famous Harlem Globetrotters will make Springfield a stop on their 100 Year Tour, playing at the Bank of Springfield Center on January 8, 2026. The centennial season marks a once-in-a-century celebration of basketball artistry, family entertainment, and the team’s global impact.

Fans can expect the Globetrotters’ signature mix of high-flying dunks, dazzling ball-handling tricks, and laugh-out-loud moments when they face off against their longtime rivals, the Washington Generals. The Springfield game will also feature the debut of the team’s new 100 Year jerseys and other special centennial surprises, including the Golden Basketball by Spalding® and the always-popular post-game “5th Quarter” autograph session, free for all attendees.
The Globetrotters’ legacy spans decades of breaking barriers and making history, from Nat “Sweetwater” Clifton becoming the first Black player to sign an NBA contract, to legends like Wilt Chamberlain and Meadowlark Lemon thrilling fans around the world. Today’s roster continues that tradition with men and women athletes who hold more than 60 Guinness World Records, including 18 set last year alone.
In addition to the game, fans can enhance their experience through premium opportunities such as pre-game Magic Pass meet-and-greets, VIP bench seating, and Celebrity Court Passes that allow participants to join the team during warmups. Limited-edition 100 Year collectibles will also be available.
Tickets are available now at www.harlemglobetrotters.com and through the Bank of Springfield Center box office. Group sales packages with discounted rates and prime seating are also being offered.
