Springfield and the surrounding communities have always come together to support children in need, and this year is no exception. SIU Medicine is proud to announce the upcoming On Par for Pediatrics charity golf outing, aimed at providing extended medical care and financial assistance to families with children facing life-altering diseases.
Scheduled for Monday, June 5, the event will kick off with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. at The Rail Golf Course. With an entry fee of $125 per player, participants will enjoy a round of golf accompanied by various perks, including green fees, a golf cart, on-course beverages, engaging games with exciting prizes, and a delicious Twyford BBQ dinner to cap off the day. For those not partaking in the golfing action, the dinner can be attended separately for a fee of $50. Additionally, individuals and businesses have the opportunity to contribute at various sponsorship levels, including the dedication of golf carts in honor or memory of a loved one.
To secure a spot, interested individuals must register by May 26. Registration can be completed online or by emailing foundation@siumed.edu. Alternatively, participants can send their checks payable to the SIU Foundation, along with their registration and sponsorship forms, to the SIU Foundation at P.O.
