Music fans still have time to grab tickets to some of the biggest concerts of the summer at the 2025 Illinois State Fair. From country to rock to hip-hop, this year’s Grandstand lineup features a wide range of artists, and seats remain available for many of the most anticipated performances.

Artists scheduled to perform include:

  • Jake Owen – Friday, August 8

  • The Black Crowes – Saturday, August 9

  • Sheryl Crow – Tuesday, August 12

  • Snoop Dogg – Wednesday, August 13

  • Brad Paisley – Thursday, August 14

  • The Chainsmokers – Friday, August 15

  • Def Leppard – Saturday, August 16

  • Turnpike Troubadours – Sunday, August 17

Megan Moroney’s show on August 10 is sold out, but tickets for all other concerts remain available in multiple seating tiers, including Standing Room Only Track and premium Blue Ribbon Zone options.

A $30 Pre-Show Party ticket is also offered as an upgrade for any paid concert, providing fairgoers with an enhanced experience before the show.

To make purchasing tickets easier, the Illinois State Fair Grandstand Box Office will offer extended hours for both in-person and over-the-phone ticket sales on Saturday, August 2 – 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Regular box office hours continue Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. prior to the fair. Once the fair begins, hours will shift to 8 a.m. – 9 p.m. daily from August 7–17.

Tickets may also be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com, but fairgoers can avoid additional fees by purchasing directly at the box office.

In addition to concert tickets, the box office also sells passes for Arena events including:

  • Monsters of Destruction – August 7

  • Wooten Rodeo – August 9

  • ITPA Truck & Tractor Pulls – August 11–13

  • Demolition Derby – August 16

Auto racing fans can also pick up tickets for the USAC Bettenhausen 100 (August 16) and the ARCA Menards Series Springfield 100 (August 17).

“We look for every opportunity to make the 2025 Illinois State Fair affordable,” said Jerry Costello II, Director of the Illinois Department of Agriculture. “Extended box office hours make it easier to come out and buy tickets in person to save money.”

Fairgoers can also save big on rides with the Illinois State Fair Mega Pass, currently on sale for $80 — but only through July 31. The price increases on August 1.

To accommodate last-minute buyers, the Mega Pass Office will offer extended hours:

  • Saturday, July 26 & Saturday, August 2 – 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

  • Monday, August 4 – Wednesday, August 6 – 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

“The Illinois State Fair Mega Pass is one of the best tools to save money at the Fair, especially for families who plan to visit more than once during the 11-day run,” said Illinois State Fair Manager Rebecca Clark. “But with time running out, we encourage families to take advantage of this money-saving opportunity during our extended office hours, or online 24-7 at StateFair.Illinois.gov.”

If you’ve already purchased a Mega or Jumbo Pass, you’re encouraged to visit during the extended hours to avoid long lines and pick up your pass before the fair. While there, you can also purchase:

  • A Discount Admission Book ($45 for 11 any-day admissions)

  • A Seasonal Infield Parking Pass ($40 for access all 11 days)
