"History Reborn" Documentary Now Available on YouTube

The documentary "History Reborn - The Restoration of the Illinois Old State Capitol," which originally aired on PBS, is now available for public viewing on the ThriveInSPI YouTube channel. Produced by The Storyteller Studios in partnership with the State Historic Sites & Illinois Department of Natural Resources Office of Land Management, BAM Marketing, and the Springfield Sangamon Growth Alliance (SSGA), the film chronicles the restoration of the historic Illinois Old State Capitol in the late 1960s.


The documentary features never-before-seen archival film footage and interviews with the living architects who led the project. Because of their extraordinary efforts, the site is now visited by people all over the world seeking to connect more deeply with Abraham Lincoln and his legacy. Produced in partnership with the State Historic Sites & Illinois Department of Natural Resources Office of Land Management, BAM Marketing, and the SSGA, "History Reborn" is a must-see for anyone interested in history and architecture.
