LLCC Hosts Spooky Adventure

Lincoln Land Community College is embracing the Halloween spirit with its upcoming event, “Fear 101” haunted house. Open to the public on Friday the 20th, and 27th, as well as Saturday, Oct. 28th, this eerie experience is set to run from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. The haunt is tailored for those aged 13 and above, with a special “lights on” version on Oct. 28th from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., catering to younger and less daring attendees.

Sponsored by the LLCC Police Department, Fear 101 has been crafted with the help of students from construction and art classes. Located in the lower level of Sangamon Hall South at 5250 Shepherd Rd., the haunted house offers a spine-chilling journey through themed rooms teeming with ghosts, ghouls, and other terrifying apparitions. Admission stands at $5, with a discounted rate of $2 for LLCC students.

“This haunted house showcases the creativity and effort of our talented students, faculty, and staff. It’s a perfect way to immerse yourself in the Halloween ambiance,” stated LLCC Police Chief Chris Russell. Brave souls are encouraged to attend and experience the frights awaiting within.
