Lucky Horseshoes Launch Inaugural Summer Camp

The Springfield Lucky Horseshoes announced their inaugural summer camp, providing an exciting opportunity for kids from Kindergarten through 8th grade to engage with the sport of baseball. Under the guidance of Zach George, the esteemed 'Shoes manager, and several players who will be present each day, campers will have the chance to learn from the best in the business.

Over the course of three days, the camp will cover various aspects of the game. Day one will focus on enhancing hitting skills, followed by day two's emphasis on fielding techniques. On the final day, participants will put their newfound skills to the test through engaging scrimmages.

To ensure a well-rounded experience, lunch will be provided daily. Parents have the flexibility to enroll their child for a single day or for the entire three-day program. Those registering for all three days before July 6th will receive an exclusive T-Shirt and a ticket to the highly anticipated Lucky Horseshoes game on July 22nd.

Each day, drop-off will commence at 8:30 AM, with the camp officially commencing at 9:00 AM. Pick-up time is set for 12:00 PM. Participants are required to bring their own baseball attire and glove, while water and Powerade will be available throughout the camp.

In case of inclement weather, causing a postponement of any camp day, Monday, July 24th has been designated as a make-up day.
