Sandy Hamilton Shares Why You Should Vote for Her

"This November, the choice for the 48th State Senate District couldn't be any clearer. Doris Turner has been engaged in a career of corruption and that won't stop with her election to the Senate. Among her schemes includes ordering government workers to do services at her home, covering up a taxpayer-funded payroll fraud scheme, and dishing out taxpayer money on a luxury Hummer, a Las Vegas trip, manicures, fancy cars, and a yacht membership. Doris has never stopped using taxpayers to put herself first. Where did Doris learn this from? Well, Doris applauded Madigan for the "positive impact his leadership has had on the State of Illinois" and that she supports him "1,000 percent." This is not the type of leader we deserve. As your next State Senator, I will fight for working families and push to repeal the tax hikes that Doris and her friends have pushed through Springfield. It is important to me that we get rid of the ill-named SAFE-T Act which will make our communities less safe by releasing violent criminals back onto the streets. I will also push for stronger ethics laws to make sure a career politician like Doris Turner is stopped before they can inflict more damage on taxpayers."
