National Speaker Austin Hatch to Appear in Springfield

Springfield Clinic has joined with the Central Illinois Customer Service Association (CILCSA) to present a captivating event featuring renowned keynote speaker Austin Hatch. On Tuesday, June 7, Springfield residents will have the extraordinary opportunity to hear Hatch share his remarkable story of "Grit and Thriving in the Midst of Adversity."


In light of the challenges endured throughout the past few years, including the lingering effects of the pandemic, Springfield Clinic and CILCSA joined hands to express gratitude and admiration for the dedicated healthcare teams within our community. Austin Hatch, a name synonymous with resilience, will take the stage to impart invaluable lessons derived from his personal experiences of unimaginable loss, a profound health journey, and ultimate triumph. His story is nothing short of unforgettable.


Hatch firmly believes that our circumstances do not define us; rather, it is our chosen responses that shape our character and determine our outcomes. This empowering mindset aligns perfectly with the values instilled within the compassionate care teams of Springfield Clinic. The afternoon session at the Springfield Clinic leadership summit will witness Austin Hatch addressing a gathering of 250 employees. However, the evening session, conducted in collaboration with CILCSA, will be open to the general public and CILCSA members alike.
