The Sangamon County Republican Party is preparing to host their annual Lincoln Day Dinner on May 3rd, 2023, at the Bank of Springfield Center. The event is set to begin at 6pm, and the keynote speaker will be Kellyanne Conway, a well-known conservative commentator and the first woman in United States history to lead a winning presidential campaign.
This year's Lincoln Day Dinner is an opportunity for the Sangamon County Republican Party to celebrate their shared values, as well as to raise funds to support their efforts in the upcoming election cycle. In addition to Conway's keynote address, the event will feature remarks from local officials and party leaders, as well as a dinner and entertainment.
"We're thrilled to have Kellyanne Conway as our keynote speaker this year," said Dianne Barghouti Hardwick, Chair of the Sangamon County Republican Party. "She's a dynamic and inspiring leader, and we're looking forward to hearing her insights on the state of the conservative movement and the upcoming elections."
According to Barghouti Hardwick, the Lincoln Day Dinner is an important tradition for the party and the community.
The Lincoln Day Dinner is one of the party's most important fundraising events of the year and provides crucial support for their efforts to promote conservative values and elect Republican candidates. Tickets for the event are available for purchase on the Sangamon County Republican Party website, and all are welcome to attend.
"We're excited to welcome members of the community to join us for this special evening," said Barghouti Hardwick. "It's a great opportunity to meet other Republicans, hear from our leaders, and support our party's mission."
