The Sangamon County Sheriff's Office, led by Sheriff Paula Crouch, has announced the inaugural "Cram the Cruiser" food drive aimed at combating food insecurity in the community.

The event will take place at the New Berlin Thanksgiving Turkey Tournament, located at 300 Ellis Street, New Berlin, IL, from November 25-27 and November 29-30.

Community members are encouraged to donate canned goods, non-perishable food items, and monetary contributions.

Sangamon County Deputies and members of the Explorer program will be present to collect donations and answer questions about the Explorer program and career opportunities within the Sheriff’s Office.
