The Friends of Sangamon County Child Advocacy Center and CASA of Sangamon County are hosting a Trivia Night on Friday, April 21st at 7 PM, to raise awareness and funds for their cause. This event is being held in recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month.

The event will take place at the Knights of Columbus on 2200 Meadowbrook Road and doors will open at 6 PM. A table is $200 with a maximum of 10 people per table. There will be a cash bar, mulligans for sale, and a 50/50 raffle. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Friends of Sangamon County Child Advocacy Center and CASA of Sangamon County.

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) are trained volunteers who advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children in the Sangamon County juvenile court system. The Sangamon County Child Advocacy Center (CAC) is dedicated to a coordinated, multidisciplinary approach to child abuse investigations in Logan, Sangamon, Christian, and Menard counties. They provide a safe, child-focused setting for investigations, ensure victims and their families receive quality services and raise awareness in the community to combat child abuse.
