The University of Illinois Springfield Department of Campus Recreation will host its annual Health and Safety Fair from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19, at the Recreation and Athletic Center. This event is free and open to the public, UIS students, faculty, staff and alumni.
The event will offer meal prep ideas, a rock-climbing wall, outdoor yard games, prizes and giveaways. Several off-campus health vendors will be present, including B3 Healthcare, Farrell’s eXtreme Bodyshaping, Fed Kitchen (meal prep), Illinois Secretary of State Organ/Tissue Donor Program, Impact Life, Memorial Health (behavioral health, cancer center, stroke education, volunteer services), Orange Theory Fitness, Paladin Combatives, Prairie Cardiovascular, the Springfield Road Runners Club and Well Beyond Talk Hypnotherapy.
UIS departments and organizations taking part include Brookens Library, the Career Development Center, the Diversity Center, and Health Services.
