Simple Grilled Burger Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend for the ideal balance of flavor and juiciness)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Burger buns

  • Toppings: cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, condiments, and more

Directions:

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Divide the ground beef into four equal portions and form into patties, about ¾ inch thick.

  2. Season both sides of the patties with salt and pepper.

  3. Grill the patties for 4-5 minutes per side, depending on your preferred level of doneness (use a meat thermometer for precision: 160°F for well-done, 145°F for medium).

  4. Toast the burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes for extra flavor.

  5. Assemble your burger with your favorite toppings and serve immediately.

Whether you grab a burger from a local favorite or make one from scratch, celebrate National Hamburger Day with a juicy patty, your favorite fixings, and a side of fries. It’s the perfect way to honor a true American classic!
