Chamber Seeks Nominations for 2026 Small Business Awards

The Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for its annual Small Business Awards, recognizing local business leaders for excellence and community impact.


According to the Chamber, the awards honor area small business owners who have demonstrated outstanding performance through innovation, growth, longevity and contributions to the community. Awards will be presented in four categories: Not-For-Profit Director of the Year, New & Emerging Business Owner of the Year, Small Business Owner of the Year, and the Lifetime Award – Business Owner of the Year.


Nominations can be submitted through a link available on the Chamber’s homepage and events calendar at www.gscc.org. Individuals nominating a business are asked to provide the name of the business, its owner or owners, and the applicable award category. The nomination deadline is March 31.


Nominees will be recognized and award recipients announced during the Small Business Awards Luncheon on Tuesday, June 23, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Springfield Convention Center. Hickory Point Bank & Trust is serving as the presenting sponsor.


Reservations for the luncheon are $50 for Chamber members, increasing to $60 after May 28. Non-member tickets are $95. Table sponsorships are available to members for $675 and include 10 seats and company recognition in the luncheon program.
