Coffey Highlights Local Firm in “Mike on Main Street” Tour

State Representative Mike Coffey (R-Springfield) continued his “Mike on Main Street” business tours with a visit to Illuminative Strategies, a management consulting firm that recently expanded with a second Springfield location.

During the roundtable discussion, Coffey met with Executive Director Kent James to learn about the firm’s approach to operational excellence and performance management. Illuminative Strategies works to improve efficiency in government operations at the local, county, state, and federal levels.

“I have constituents call into my office daily, and one of the most common requests I hear is needing help navigating through the red tape to get information they need,” Coffey said. “The team at Illuminative Strategies is ultimately helping the citizens of Illinois. The processes they implement to improve internal processes benefit our economy and workers alike.”

Founded in 2015, Illuminative Strategies has grown to nearly 60 employees, all based in Springfield. The firm focuses on eliminating burdensome processes, reducing wasteful spending, and streamlining government operations.
