Crime Stoppers: Crime of the Week

This week, Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department in reference to an attempted vehicle theft and criminal damage that occurred on January 27th around 8:00 p.m. at Auto Connect, located at 1900 S 6th Street in Springfield.

Two suspects broke into multiple vehicles and broke the steering columns in what appeared to be an attempt to steal the vehicles, causing $4,000 in damage. Two vehicle windows were also broken in the process, causing an additional $1000 in damage. Video of the suspects can be found on the Crime Stoppers website, cashfortips.us.
