Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in identifying an individual wanted in connection with a theft and unlawful use of credit cards under investigation by the Springfield Police Department.
On October 13, 2025, officers received a report of a wallet left behind at a local store. When the victim returned, the wallet was gone, and the credit cards had already been used at several businesses around Springfield.

The suspect, described as a Black female, made multiple purchases at locations throughout the city. Images of the individual and the suspect vehicle are available at cashfortips.us.
Anyone with information that could help identify the suspect is urged to contact Crime Stoppers anonymously at 217-788-8427, submit a tip online, or use the P3 app. Tips leading to an arrest could earn a cash reward of up to $2,500.
Remember, Crime Stoppers only wants your information, not your name.
