Crime Stoppers Seeks Information in Wallet Theft

Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department with a theft reported at Main Gate Bar and Grill, 2143 N. 11th St.

Officers were called to the business around midnight Aug. 29 after a patron reported leaving a wallet behind.

Video from the business shows a white female with dark-colored hair, wearing a black shirt and jeans, take the wallet and place it into a large purse. The wallet contained debit and credit cards.

One photo of the suspect is available now, if additional photos become available, they will be posted to the Crime Stoppers website at cashfortips.us.

Anyone with information about the incident or who can identify the individual is asked to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 217-788-8427, submit a tip at cashfortips.us or use the P3 app. Tips that result in an arrest could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,500.
