Crime Stoppers Seeks Suspect in Internet Line Damage

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help identifying a man suspected of damaging an internet service line in Springfield last month.

According to Crime Stoppers, a white male was seen around 5:30 p.m. July 30 in the 700 block of West Miller Street. Video footage shows the man loitering in the area before walking to a utility pole and tampering with wires at its base.

The suspect then allegedly cut an internet service line before leaving the area.
