July 17th is National Peach Ice Cream Day, and what better way to celebrate than with a homemade batch of this sweet, creamy treat? Peach ice cream combines the delicious flavor of fresh peaches with the smoothness of ice cream, making it a perfect summer indulgence.


Easy Peach Ice Cream Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups fresh peaches, peeled and chopped

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 cup whole milk

  • ¾ cup sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice


Directions:

  1. In a blender or food processor, puree the peaches until smooth.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon juice. Add the peach puree and stir until well mixed.

  3. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.

  4. Transfer to a container and freeze for 4 hours or until firm.
