Greater Springfield Chamber to Host Spring Job Fair

The Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce will host its Spring Job Fair on Tuesday, April 23, aiming to connect local businesses with job seekers.

The event will feature two key components. First, a dedicated Youth Job Fair will take place from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, targeting high school and college students in search of summer employment opportunities or internships. This segment aims to provide young individuals with a platform to explore various job prospects and connect with potential employers.

Following the Youth Job Fair, a traditional Job Fair will be held from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, welcoming job seekers of all ages and experience levels. This segment will offer a broader spectrum of employment opportunities across different sectors, catering to the diverse needs of the local workforce.

Both components of the Job Fair will be hosted at the Crowne Plaza Springfield Convention Center.

The Chamber's initiative underscores its commitment to supporting the local economy by facilitating employment opportunities and fostering connections between businesses and the workforce.

Chamber officials say the event promises to be a valuable opportunity for businesses to tap into young talent and for job seekers to explore diverse career paths.
