Prospective students interested in starting or restarting college, training for a hands-on career or building new skills are invited to Lincoln Land Community College’s Campus Visit Day on Tuesday, June 16.
The free event will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at LLCC’s Springfield campus, 5250 Shepherd Road.
“Campus Visit Day is a great opportunity for students to explore what’s possible at LLCC,” said LLCC President Charlotte Warren, Ph.D. “Whether they’re pursuing a transfer degree, preparing for a workforce career or simply looking to grow their skills, we’re here to provide a supportive, high-quality and affordable path forward.”
Guests can tailor their visit by choosing from three breakout sessions and campus tours. Breakout sessions will cover topics such as choosing a major or career, paying for college and making the transition to college life.
Tour options include the Workforce Careers Center, health professions programs, transfer program facilities and the Kreher Agriculture Center. Attendees will also be able to apply for admission, learn about financial aid and speak with faculty and staff about LLCC programs and services. Refreshments will be provided.
Registration is encouraged at www.llcc.edu/campus-visit-day, though walk-ins are welcome. Prospective students who are unable to attend can schedule a visit for another day by calling or texting 217-786-2292 or visiting www.llcc.edu/visit-llcc.
