Springfield Police Arrest Three for Cannabis and Stolen Firearm

The Springfield Police Department Street Crimes Unit along with the Emergency Response Team served a search warrant in the 2100 block of S. 14th Street. Upon the arrival at the residence, officers located Reginald Fuller (male, 48 years old), Lucas Rutherford (male, 28 years old), and Marcus Kincaid (male, 31 years old), all of Springfield.

During the search, officers located 1,564 grams of cannabis, 685 grams of Psilocybin, $4,282 in U.S. currency, and a loaded Glock 9mm handgun that had been reported stolen from Springfield. Upon completion of the search, all suspects were arrested and taken to the Sangamon County Jail, where they await formal charges from the Sangamon County State's Attorney’s Office.

Fuller was arrested for armed habitual criminal, armed violence, unlawful possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, and delivery of cannabis over 500 grams.


Kincaid was arrested for the manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance, delivery of cannabis over 500 grams, and resisting arrest.


Rutherford was arrested for the manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance and the delivery of cannabis over 500 grams.
