Eureka Springs, Arkansas, offers a quirky, historic experience that’s perfect for a weekend getaway. Nestled in the Ozark Mountains, Eureka Springs is known for its Victorian-style architecture, unique shops, and picturesque natural surroundings. The drive from Springfield to Eureka Springs takes about 4 hours. Take I-44 to Joplin, then head south on US-71 to Route 62 in Arkansas, which takes you right into the heart of Eureka Springs.

If you enjoy history, visit the Crescent Hotel, known for its haunted history, or the Thorncrown Chapel, a stunning piece of modern architecture surrounded by nature. For a unique experience, you can take a ride on the Eureka Springs & North Arkansas Railway, a nostalgic train ride through the beautiful Ozarks.
