This week, Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department about a fire that occurred at the NAACP located at 811 S. 11th Street.
Between 12:30 and 12:45 a.m. on Tuesday, November 28, a suspect, who appeared to be a male wearing a jacket and khaki pants, can be seen on the property.
The suspect went behind the building and started a fire inside the dumpster. The suspect stared at the fire before leaving the area northbound on foot. Minimal damage occurred.
